De forme balustre, il est orné d'un décor représentant Shoulao sur la terrasse d'un pavillon émergeant des nuages. Il domine les autres Immortels qui progressent le long d'un sentier montagneux. Un poème est inscrit sur l'autre face. Le col et le pied sont rehaussés d'un décor rouge de fer et grisaille de rinceaux fleuris, caractères shou et ruyi. Les anses sont moulées en forme de chauves-souris. La base porte une marque à quatre caractères yang xin dian ('Hall de la Culture Mentale').

'The monument emerges from a mirage
A square island meets the jewelled terrace
Immortals gather today for Xi Wangmu's birthday
Overlapping each other as they ascend the steps.'

The two seal marks at the end are Qian and Long
