l'Acteur Melingue, dans la rôle de Don César de Bazan

The character Don César in Victor Hugo's Ruy-Blas was performed by Mélingue for the last time during the grande reprise of the play in the Odeon, Paris, in 1872. Sardou was a playwriter himself as well.
