Original publisher’s hardback cloth gilt, printed yellow endpapers (some light soiling of covers, light rubbing of extremities and bumping of corners, 1920 with front endpapers detached, and with front cover slightly soiled and bowed, gilt spines of 1926-27 slightly less bright than others, bookplate on front pastedown advertisement). Provenance: H.D. Swan (signature in 1920, 1922) – Neville Hind (signature in 1921, 1926, 1927, all dated to year of publication). A COMPLETE RUN OF THE 1920’S IN ORIGINAL HARDBACK with bright gilt lettering. Varying in length from over 700 to over 1000 pages, the broad girth of Wisden in the 1920’s shows how immediate was the revival of the game after the war.
