First edition of Sir William Young's account of the Black Caribs, the descendants of those shipwrecked from an African Slaver in 1675, on the island of Bequia, south of St. Vincent. Young's work was published soon after the insurrection of the Caribs against the British authorities in St Vincent. Sabin 106124.
