Album of 115 albumen prints. Circa 1880s-90s. Varying sizes from 4½ x 6 in. (11.4 cm. x 15.2 cm.) to 8½ x 11 in. (21.5 x 28 cm.). Several signed, numbered and/or titled in the negatives, mounted back-to-back one and two per page, black half leather.

The album begins with a few interesting individual and group portraits, possibly from Madagascar, then moves on to Egypt. Subjects include the Suez canal, pyramids, river scenes, street scenes, water-carriers, village and market scenes and mosques. Many of the photographs were taken in Cairo.
