The plain hoop flat on the interior, rounded on the exterior, expanding to the broad shoulders, the oval bezel set with a flat stone engraved with a winged Eros, a whip in his hand, standing upon a dolphin and a composite figure of a bearded satyr's head, a horse protome and a ram's head, with a Greek inscription in three registers, THN XAP IN, "in gratitude"
