The first with tapering two-stage blade, iron regulation Dragoon half-basket guard of flattened bars, the base cut with pairs of slots, earlier pommel, and later wire-bound grip (the blade and pommel each heavily pitted); the second with Tessak blade double-edged toward the point and with traces of marks within the fullers on one side, iron hilt formed with a pair of short quillons and a pair of arms, gadrooned pommel, and later wooden grip.
