A EUROPEAN LANCE FOR THE CAROUSEL TOURNAMENT
Constructed in two stages, the forward half very slender and fitted with an iron needle-like head, the rear section of boldly fluted baluster form recessed for the hand in the middle, and retaining much of its original red and gold painted finish over gesso (the painted finish chipped, the gold now oxidised).
