EARLY 19TH CENTURY
With etched twist barrel profusely encrusted with gold scrolling foliage, the muzzle sheathed in silver finely embossed and chased with scrollwork on a pounced ground, silver false ramrod, bevelled lock inscribed 'H. J. Burÿ', walnut stock inalid with silver wire scrolls, and full silver mounts decorated with trophies-of-war finely cast in relief.
