A FULL ARMOUR WITH EXCHANGE PIECES, IN THE ITALIAN GOTHIC STYLE OF THE THIRD QUARTER OF THE 15TH CENTURY
Accurately modelled throughout, comprising barbute, breast- and back-plate each of two-part construction and each with skirt of four lames, complete arm defences including spaulders retained by pins and hooks, the left spaulder with gardbrace, the left cowter also with detachable reinforce, a grandguard for the left shoulder, and a pair of mitten gauntlets, full leg defences, and inward turned edges throughout: on a figural stand together with a crown fitting over the helmet and a hand-and-a-half sword.
