The text of this manuscript begins with Qur'an I, sura al-fatiha and Qu'ran II, sura al-baqara. This is followed by prayers based on Qur'anic verses, namely ya-sin, al-dukhan, al-waqi'ah, al-naba'. This ends with Qur'an I, sura al-fatiha. This is followed by the asma' al-husna' (the 99 names of God), the names of the Prophet and then various diagrams including the 'ayn of 'Ali, the seal of the Prophet, the seal (muhr) of Yusuf, the hilyeh of the Prophet, and the seal of the Great Name. This is followed by various prayers, preceded by instructions on their recitation in Ottoman Turkish. The prayers include rijal al-ghayb (Men of the Unseen), the Jannat al-Asma', (Paradise of the Names) Kanz al-'arsh (Treasure of the Throne), prayers consisting of the names of the Ashab al-Badr (The Companions of the Battle of Badr) and prayers beginning with each letter of the Arabic alphabet.
