A COLLECTION OF CHINESE ART REFERENCE BOOKS AND AUCTION CATALOGUES
The group comprises: Christie's and Sotheby's auction catalogues from the 1930s and 1960s; approximately 90 Chinese history, metalwork, art, and paintings reference books, including Zuan zu ying hua, tapestries and embroideries of the Sung, Yu¨an, Ming and Ch'ing dynasties, treasured by the Manchoukuo National Museum, Mukden, and Die Chinesischen Handschriften und Sonstigen Kleinfunde Sven Hedins in Lou Lan, August Conrady, 1920, with a handwritten inscription to "To His Excellency Tsing Tsung Kien" signed "Sven Hedin".
