Small 8° (120 x 80mm). Decorative title and 7 photographic plates, folding map. (Slightly browned.) Original pink ribbed silk stamped in gilt, upper cover applied with an Imperial crown above a shaped blue-enamel shield applied with the cypher of Grand Duchess Elizaveta Mavrikievna, brass catch, gilt edges, with original pink ribbed silk jacket (slightly worn, brass catch lacking). Provenance: Grand Duchess Elizaveta Mavrikievna, née Saxe-Altenberg (1865-1927; binding).
AN ORIGINAL IMPERIAL COPY of the annual which started publication in 1827, detailing the members of the Imperial family, the members of the government, military command with ranks, uniforms, medals etc., diplomatic postings, etc. Elizaveta Mavrikievna married Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich in 1884.
