Oblong 4o (307 x 380 mm). Printed title and 46 engraved plates (last two plates laid down, some minor marginal worming and light staining). 20th-century half cloth and paper covered boards. Provenance: Carl Friedrich [erased] Onoltzbach, Franconia (purchase inscription December 1893 "uno flor. Et XXX crucifer" on title).
The funeral procession for JOACHIM ERNST MARGRAVE OF BRANDENBURG-ANSBACH (1583-1625). The depiction of the procession follows that of the funeral procession for Margrave Georg Friedrich von Brandenburg, published in Nuremberg 1603 with 44 plates by GEORG GäRTNER, of which more than half were re-used in the present book.
