Sculpture of Melanesia (London, 1962, inscribed, "To John, with all best wishes, Francis Bacon," another copy of John Russell's Francis Bacon (London, 1964, inscribed, "To John, with fondest love, Francis") and a later 4° edition (1971) with coloured plates inscribed, "For John, with deep affection, Francis."
