Brussels: "By the Widowe of Jhon [sic] Mommart", 1634. 2° (295 x 195mm). 7 folding engraved plates and 7 folding tables, initials, illustrations, woodcut printer's device on verso of final leaf (without an additional engraved title called for by Lowndes, printed title browned and chipped at margin, one plate detached, some spotting and staining, a few tears to tables). Contemporary calf (rebacked, rubbed, later endpapers). FIRST EDITION. STC 1528; Cockle 130; Lowndes I, 123: "This singular and extremely curious work is not noticed by Grose in his history of the English army."
