Allegorical woodcut general title and title of the New Testament (lower margin of first title and following leaf with slight loss of border of title, some outer margins cropped with slight loss of shoulder notes and occasionally text, soiled and browned throughout, some staining, some marginal tears). 17th-century calf, brass corners, and clasps (rebacked with old spine partly relaid, rubbed, small hole in front cover). Bound-in are 2 imperfect editions of the Book of Psalmes (a 19th-century edition at the beginning and a 1610 edition at the end). Herbert 293; STC 2202 (Concordance: STC 13232).
