2 volumes in one, 2° (414 x 255mm). Engraved vignettes to titles by Grignion after Gravelot, 108 engraved portrait ovals by Vertue and Houbraken each within an emblematic border. (Light offsetting and occasional light spotting.) Contemporary calf (covers rubbed, large chip on lower cover, joints cracking, spine ends worn). Provenance: Francis Ferrand Foljambe (stamp on binding).
