Engraved title to each part, 177 double-page engraved plates by Hogenberg and Simon van den Neuvel (Novellanus) after Joris Hoefnagel and others. Final blank preserved in part two. (Plate 20 ['Namur'] in part 2 torn more than half way along fold, some browning in part 3, occasional small spots and stains elsewhere, part 1 without the 2-leaf Index Alphabeticus at end.) Contemporary calf over wood boards, covers with multiple fillets and drawer tool panelling in blind (spine and extremities of covers worn, clasps lacking).
