Alken (first few leaves detached, very occasional light spotting to text), original red pictorial cloth gilt, gilt edges (spine chipped, extremities rubbed). FIRST EDITION. Tooley 65: "considered by many to be the premier coloured plate sporting book in the 19th century".

Alken and T.J Rawlins (some light spotting throughout and some mainly marginal staining), original green pictorial cloth gilt, gilt edges (extremities worn). Tooley 68: "This third edition is a desirable item to add to any collection as it is the first to contain the Life of Nimrod."
