Half-title, 8 engraved plates, 3 folding (tear with loss of margin on l. 7, 3 not affecting text). Contemporary French roan-backed boards, flat spine ruled, lettered and decorated in gilt, yellow edges (lightly worn).
CELESTIAL GORES. 12 engraved gores for an 8-inch celestial globe on 4 plates, extracted from: [INGHIRAMI, Francesco (1772-1846)]. Monumenti che servono di corredo a tutta l'opera dei Monumenti Etruschi (Fiesone: 1826).
TERRESTRIAL GORES. Two sets of 18 engraved half gores and two polar calottes, laid onto thin paper. Taken from a 10-inch globe (with loss to the gores); the cartouche JORDGLOBE utgrifven af C.AKRELL 864 Tilverkas af L.C.Hasselgren Stockholm. Tasmania, named, as island, part of Antarctic coast shown. Graduated meridian through Tenerife. (3)
