The wedding in Naples of the daughter of AUGUST III (1696-1763), Elector of Sachsen, MARIA AMALIA (1724-1760), with KING CHARLES IV (1716-1788), who was king of Neaples and Sicily from 1735-1759 and became KING CHARLES III of Spain 1759-1788 is being celebrated in Dresden with a lovely illumination of many of it's palaces including the Zwinger, the Kreuzturm and the Brühlsche Terrasse.
