WITH THE RARE 3-SHEET VIEW OF THE BOMBARDMENT OF GELDERN. A very good set in contemporary red morocco with distinguished military provenance of a history of the campaigns of these three military commanders, all of whom fought in the War of the Spanish Succession. Illustrated with fine views, maps, and plans of the various scenes of action by Jan Huchtenburgh (1647-1733), a Dutch painter and engraver who had served Prince Eugène de Savoy. A supplementary third volume was published by Jean Naulme nearly two decades later. Copies vary in the number of plates, with no consensus in the bibliographies.
