Second edition of Bardi's celebrated description of the game of football, as played in Florence's Piazza di Santa Croce. The first edition appeared in 1580 during the reign of Francesco I de' Medici. The 2-page dedication to Maria Maddalena Archduchess of Austria, wife of Cosimo II de' Medici and Grand Duchess of Tuscany, is signed by the publisher, Cosimo Giunti.
