London: Edward Orme, 1814. 4° (282 x 219mm), half-title, 110 coloured plates, including 107 aquatints, 2 line engravings and one stipple and line engraving (very lightly browned, occasional spotting), contemporary diced calf gilt, wide gilt-tooled border on sides, spine decorated and lettered in gilt (rebacked with old spine relaid, lightly rubbed, a few light stains on front cover).
FIRST EDITION, with the often absent half-title. The work includes a series of 12 plates illustrating bullfighting and 10 plates showing hunting as practised by Aborgines in Australia. Abbey Travel 2; Schwerdt I, p.177-178.
