London: John Wisden, [n.d.]. 4 volumes, 8°, mounted photographic plate of "Six Great Bowlers" and "Nine Great Batsemn" in 1889-90 (1888-89 lacking some advertisements), uniform contemporary brown morocco by Townsend with original wrappers bound in (spines lightly rubbed, spine of first vol. faded). Provenance: E.T. Atkin (signature on front pastedown of 1889-90).
A GOOD, CLEAN SET. 1888 has 2pp. advertisements at end, not 20; 1889 has 8p. advertisements at end, not 22. 1890 has all the advertisements called for, though one extra leaf at the beginning and one less leaf at the end. (4)
