The Imperial Hunt in Russia is 'a masterpiece of the Russian printing industry of the early 20th century', and 'a fundamental description of Russian mores and customs related to various types of hunting, ranging from pastime to big-game shooting and trapping' (Vengerov). 'These four volumes are now rarely found as a set' (Fekula). The set comprises first editions of volumes 2-4 and a second edition of volume 1.
