FIRST EDITION. Printed at State Press 15, formerly the renowned Golike & Vil'borg. One of only 1500 copies, a comparatively small edition for children's books of this period. There appears to have been variant colours of the cover: this one is blue-grey, while the MoMA copy is orange; apparently neither has precedence. ABPC records no copy of either variant selling at auction in over 35 years. MoMA, The Russian Avant-Garde Book, p.173.
