FIRST EDITION, reprinted in Madrid the following year without the folding plate. Rico describes the services held for CHARLES III (1716-1788), King of Spain, at the Cathedral in Lima in 1789 and also includes the funeral oration delivered by BERNARDO RUEDA. The large folding plate illustrates the catafalque elaborately decorated with allegorical statuary and numerous candelabra. Palau 267421; Ruggieri 1162.
