FIRST EDITION OF PART ONE, consisting of L'Obel's previously unpublished notes on the pharmaceutical works of his mentor Rondelet. Part 2 is a reissue of the sheets from Thomas Purfoot's 1570-71 edition of the Stirpium adversaria nova, with additions and republished, first as Nova stirpium adversaria in 1576, and then as here with the cancel title-page.
