Very large engraved map on 48 sections mounted on linen, elaborate title and dedication cartouche, numerous coats-of-arms of subscribers, inset plan of the Isles of Scilly, compass rose, galleons (lightly browned, some separation and minor fraying at folds, a few inconspicuous repairs), approximately 1,440 x 1,750mm., folding into contemporary marbled wallet (worn). RARE.
