3 volumes, 8o (263 x 174 mm). 120 hand-colored lithographic plates by J.T. Bowen, most after Charles Bird King. (Occasional light spotting and soiling.) Original publisher's brown blind-stamped morocco, spine in six compartments with five raised bands, gilt-lettered in two, the others decorated in blind, all edges gilt (scuffed at the extremities and covers with surface abrasions, joints starting). Provenance: Geo M. Smephaw (signature).
