Engraved title with hand-coloured vignette and 79 fine hand-coloured engraved plates by Josef Leitz and others after Edward Gurck and others, each captioned in German and French (some very light marginal staining not affecting plates). Contemporary half roan and watered silk boards, gilt edges (upper joints worn, extremities rubbed, corners bumped).
