Contemporary sheep, spines gilt, ?later green silk ties (rubbed and scuffed). Provenance: Mark Dineley & Major C. C. Michell (armorial bookplates).
With Blaise de Montluc's Commentaries ... wherein are described all the Combats, Rencounters, Skirmishes, Battels, Sieges, Assaults, Scalado's, the Taking and Surprizes of Towns and Fortresses (London, 1674, lacking the 2 plates, contemporary calf) and a collection of 19 hand-coloured lithographed national military costume prints laid down in an album, mid-19th-century.
