FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR: 'Anne Maksimovne i Semenu Il'ichu Shtein s serdechneiishim privetom ot' [To Anna Maksimovna and Semen Il'ich Stein with a heartfelt hello from'] V. Nabokov. XI.38'. An excellent copy of one of Nabokov's best known titles, a darkly comic dystopia for which, of all his works, Nabokov said he held the greatest esteem.
