The celebration in Naples on the occasion of the birth of PHILIP PROSPERO of Spain (1657-1661), Prince of Asturias, son of Philip IV, King of Spain and his wife Marianna. Festivities included banquets, theatrical and musical performances, fireworks, masques, illuminations, and running at the ring. The large engraved folding plate illustrates the games and competitions along with allegorical floats depicting Asia, Africa, America, and Europe.
