Engraved frontispiece portrait by ANTONIO BALDI after DOMENICO MONDO, four large folding plates by FRANCESCO SESONE, FRANCESCO CEPPARULI and Baldi after NICOLÒ TAGLIACOZZI CANALE. 19th-century vellum gilt, arms of Prince d'Essling on sides with motto "Victor et Fidelis", morocco spine label, edges gilt, by Lemardeley. Provenance: Victor Massena, Prince d'Essling (1836-1910, binding).
