Document signed ('Nelson & Bronte'), orders addressed to Admiral Sir Thomas Graves, St George, Kioge Bay, 5 May 1801, 'You are hereby required and directed to put yourself under my Command, and obey all such Orders and Instructions as you shall from time to time receive from me', countersigned by Thomas Wallis, one page, folio, on a bifolium, docketed by Graves with number '9'.
Graves had fought with Nelson at the Battle of Copenhagen on 2 April.
