Square quarto (240 x 240 mm). 108 black and white photographs. Without the green printed sheet found in some copies. Original pictorial wrappers (some soiling, light creasing on back cover). Araki's signature in pencil on the front cover; printed address on the back cover crossed-out in pen almost certainly by Araki.
FIRST EDITION. SIGNED BY ARAKI. 'Without a doubt the most exemplary book by Nobuyoshi Araki'; it had 'a decisive influence on many generations of photographers both in Japan and elsewhere' (De Beaupré).
