Duodecimo (146 x 92 mm). Engraved additional title as frontispiece and three engraved plates. (Occasional minor spotting.) Contemporary tree sheep, flat spine gilt in compartments, red morocco label gilt, marbled edges, marbled endpapers (extremities rubbed).
COMPLETE WITH ALL THE PLATES. WorldCat lists only one copy in public institutions worldwide: the incomplete copy in the Bibliothèque nationale de France which, according to Apollinaire, lacks one plate. AE and ABPC record only one other copy of this edition at auction (sold, Christie’s East, 12 June 2001, lot 322; first sold at Swann in 1983).
