2o (310 x 204 mm). 11 engraved plates by SILVESTRO CURLETO, all but one folding (plate 3 trimmed within platemark at bottom). Contemporary Italian vellum over pasteboard, gilt frame on covers with large fleurons in corners, central gilt ornament built up from smaller tools (a few minor stains).
The entry into Pavia of MARIA ANNA (1634-1696), Archduchess of Austria, wife of Philip IV, King of Spain. The plates consist of: a portrait of Maria Anna, representations of Hercules, a column with the statue of Antonino Pio and 8 triumphal arches. Lozzi 3422; Watanabe 1155.
