Sporting Anecdotes ... new edition, considerably enlarged and improved. London: for Sherwood, Jones and Co., 1825. 8°, 2 engraved portaits and 4 plates, 3 hand-coloured, one folding, uncut in original pictorial boards (a little soiled and darkened), folding cloth box. Schwerdt I, p. 159: "second and finest edition. The book deals with every manner of sport and contains memoirs of many celebrated sportsmen. Egan's works are still met with but rarely in an uncut and perfect state"; Tooley 202.
Together with the 1820 first edition of the Anecdotes, also uncut in original printed boards (half-title and title detached, boards worn). (3)
