Historiated woodcut initials, woodcut vignettes to title-pages (first few leaves repaired, damp stain to gathering A of vol. 2, neat ink marginalia sometimes a little shaved, ink markings to first title page). 20th century morocco, paneled in blind, spine with raised bands in 6 compartments, lettered in second compartment, gilt inner dentelles, gilt edges (spine faded). Provenance: Thomas Hopkins (ink ms. dated July 25 1737 to title page). Second English edition. STC 20030. The lot sold not subject to return.
