Venice: Aldus Manutius, Romanus, July 1948. 2° (270 x 181mm). 419 leaves (of 452, lacks L1 (blank) and 33 other leaves, supplied in photocopy), 38 lines and headline, roman and some greek letter (lacks a1-8, I1-8, ff6-hh2, hh6-7 and ii3-4, repaired tear in r6, some top margins at the beginning and in the middle a litle waterstained). 18th-century Italian vellum (a few wormholes in spine). Provenance: the Jesuits at Rome (stamps on title and a label on front cover). FIRST EDITION.
