Contemporary vellum, leather lettering piece to spine, marbled edges (boards a little warped, spine a little rubbed at head and tail, lower cover lightly scuffed). Provenance: Radcliffe Library (bookplate with duplicate stamp). FIRST EDITION OF THIS RARE WORK with an address to William Sherard, owner of the celebrated garden at Eltham (see lots 329 and 346). Not in Nissen.
