2° (447 x 320mm). Chromolithographic frontispiece, 24 leaves of tinted reproductions of photomontages, 4 of these folding.(Occasional light spotting, a very few creases near folds.) Publisher's original mottled leather, front board with onlaid cross of red and white leather, title and arms blocked in gilt, with orange printed wrappers bound-in (some spotting on endpapers and wrappers, covers bowing slightly).
FIRST EDITION, DELUXE ISSUE, IN THE PUBLISHER'S FULL LEATHER BINDING. A strikingly designed work in the Constructivist mode, with double-page and fold-out photomontages after some of Portugal's finest photographers of the time: Avao, Rosteiro, Joao Martins, and others.
