4o (192 x 150 mm). Title printed in red and black, 9 etchings in text and 2 etched folding plates (fireworks at Frankfurt and the entry into Pressburg). (First plate backed, second plate strengthened at right edge, some light browning). 20th century vellum.
Reprint of the 1562 Nuremberg edition. The date on the title has been altered by hand stamping from 1610 to 1612. MAXIMILIAN II, (1527-1576) was crowned 1562 King of Bohemia in Prague and in the same year elected King of the Romans in Frankfurt, followed by his coronation to King of Hungary in 1563 in Pressburg (today's Bratislava).
