Muhammad Taqi al-Sharif Ibn Muhammad 'Ali could be one of two scribes. The first is a naskh scribe, Muhammad Taqi ibn Muhammad 'Ali Borujerdi, who copied a Qur'an in AH 1225/1810-11 AD and a calligraphic page in AH 1238/1822-23 AD. The second is another naskh scribe with the name Muhammad Taqi ibn Muhammad 'Ali who copied a Qur'an to present to Nasir al-Din Shah in AH1268/1851-52 (Mehdi Bayani, Ahval va Asar-e Khosh-Nevisan, Vol. IV, Teheran, 1358 sh., pp. 143-4).
A Qur'an dated 1805 AD and copied by a 'Ibn Muhammad 'Ali Muhammd Taqi' was sold in Sotheby's, 15 April 1985, lot 274.
