PETRUCCHI after GIROLAMO FONTANA. 18th-century marbled wrappers (some light wear, spine rubbed); cloth folding case. Provenance: Lathrop Harper (sold to Gourary 1956).
FIRST EDITION. Totis's opera was performed at the celebration in Rome for the wedding of CARLOS II, King of Spain, and MARIA ANNA, Duchess of Pfalz-Neuburg. The opera was performed on 16 January 1690 at the Palazzo Colonna in Rome. Berlin 4136; Watanabe 963.
