ADVICE ON A MATTER OF THE HEART: 'You must tell me about your lover and yourself before I can help you. -- nearly everything will depend upon him, at first. -- but you must tell me if you are strong -- able for household work -- what you like doing, and reading, -- and give me some notice of what your house and income will be'.
